Introduction
Complete editor templates for React, built on editorcn and Tiptap.
editorcn pro is a set of complete editor templates for React. Each template is a whole product surface (a chat interface, a Docs-style workspace) rather than a bare editor, so you can drop it into your app and connect it to your backend.
The templates are built on the free, open-source editorcn editors and extensions, and they install the same way: with the shadcn CLI, straight into your codebase.
Templates
Chat Composer
A chat interface built on the editor: a centered thread, a rounded input with a bubble menu for formatting, copy, edit and regenerate actions on each message, streaming replies with a stop button, image attachments and an optional model picker.
Document Editor
A Docs-style workspace: a title bar, a full menu bar with a searchable command list, a complete formatting toolbar, a collapsible heading outline, anchored comment threads with replies and reactions, version history, and autosave.
How it works
- You own the code. The CLI copies every template file into
components/templates/<name>/. There's no runtime package to update and nothing hidden. Change anything you like. - Built on editorcn. The editor, Static Renderer, and extensions such as Table and Image Placeholder come from the free editorcn registry and install automatically.
- Your backend, your data. Templates hand content to you through callbacks like
onSendandonSave. They don't call any service on their own. - Themed by shadcn/ui. Templates use your shadcn CSS variables, so they match your app in light and dark mode.
